Installing an Agent

Once the token is generated, you can download the agent installer for the target device's operating system (Windows or macOS). The installer file includes the necessary components for device registration. You can distribute the token and installer to end users or utilize other MDM providers to streamline the process.

You can choose any one method from the following to install the agent:

1. Manual registration- Install the Agent using the installer package (for macOS) or .msi file (for Windows).
2. Third Party Agent deployment
3. Enrollment through Group policy

Once the agent is installed on the target device, the agent communicates with the KACE Cloud server, ensuring proper enrollment. The process is either automated or subject to administrator approval, based on configured settings.
